The Charles Hotel, Munich is Rocco Forte’s third German property, joining Hotel de Rome in Berlin and Villa Kennedy in Frankfurt underlining the fact that Rocco Forte Hotels is the market leader with regard to luxury hotels.

The Charles Hotel's location in the heart of Munich, close to the historic square of Königsplatz, the old town and the superb shopping area, suits both business and leisure guests staying in Munich, yet its situation in the Botanischer Garten (Botanical Gardens) means peace and tranquillity away from the city's bustle.

Rooms

All 132 guest rooms are spacious at 40 sqm, with views over the Botanical Gardens, and have every comfort to ensure your stay in Munich is relaxing and enjoyable.

Each has a character of its own, is decorated in a fresh contemporary style chosen to blend with the history of this Bavarian city, and includes all the touches you would expect from a five-star Rocco Forte Hotel: digital TV (internet, movies, music), fax/modem line, personal voicemail, as well as secure high-speed Internet access.

Nine junior suites provide even more spacious accommodation at 50 sqm, and there will be 18 Master Suites at 70 sqm, ideal for those wanting a really luxurious experience in Munich. The hotel's Presidential Suite is stunning at 200 sqm and suits those wanting to entertain guests for private dinner parties or receptions.

Dining

The elegant and refined restaurant at The Charles Hotel is open lunchtime and evening, offering an inspired range of dishes with many European influences. Rocco Forte aims to make it one of the best restaurants in Munich. For those seeking intimacy, with the exclusive attention of our waiting staff, there are two private dining rooms, perfect for business events or special celebrations.

The bar provides a relaxing and informal atmosphere throughout the day so guests can meet up with friends or colleagues, and relax over a drink.

Meetings

Munich is a centre of European commerce and the hotel is in the right location to conduct your business and hold your events. The Charles Hotel's designated conference space include eight meeting rooms of varying sizes to suit a wide variety of functions and layouts. Natural light, space and peace have been a priority in our design brief, and each room is also fully-equipped with the most modern conference technology.

Spa & Fitness

Hotel guests will have the additional facility of the hotel's health club which will include a superb 15x10 m swimming pool and five treatment rooms, where guests can be pampered with a variety of well-being and beauty treatments.

With a gym equipped with the most up-to-date fitness machines, the hotel's health club will be amongst the best in Munich.
